The Karts
The new fleet of Thunderkarts have been specifically designed for use in Endurance events at Buckmore Park. Capable of speeds approaching 80mph, they feature a 390cc Honda engine. With crisp handling characteristics and provide an excellent driving challenge for the regular and novice driver.
Team requirements
We suggest the following are part of your race day luggage.
- A pit board to let your driver know when it's time to come in for a driver change
- Soft shoes, preferably trainers
- A change of clothes should it rain
- Fold away chairs to sit on
Driver information
The event is a 6 hour race and anything can happen. The race will not be won on the first corner of the first lap, or by the driver who posts the fastest lap! Endurance racing is a TEAM event, planning refuelling and putting your drivers out on track and keeping them there. Plan pit signals and be ready to make swift and efficient pit stops for driver changes.
